We did not start Sevaux because we wanted to build a skincare brand. We started it because we were tired of moisturizers with 30 ingredients, compounds we could not pronounce, and products marketed as clean that were anything but. We kept asking the same question: why does skincare need to be this complicated?
It sounded strange. It looked simple. And it worked.
Rendered from grass-fed cattle, tallow worked better than anything we had tried. Humans used it for thousands of years before synthetic moisturizers existed. Its fatty acid profile closely resembles the skin's natural oils, so the skin already understands how to use it.
Balanced hydration without residue.
Jojoba oil is a liquid wax that mimics the skin's natural sebum. Together with tallow, it provides balanced hydration without clogging pores or leaving residue. We tried adding more. Nothing made it better. So we stopped.

Sevaux exists to offer a simpler, more honest alternative. We are two brothers who believe real ingredients will always beat synthetic substitutes. We make small batches, create limited monthly drops, and ship every order ourselves. That is Sevaux.
