Two brothers. Two ingredients.
We didn't start Sevaux because we wanted to build a skincare brand. We started it because we got tired of reading ingredient lists that looked like chemistry textbooks. Moisturizers with 30 ingredients. Serums with compounds we couldn't pronounce. Products marketed as clean that were anything but. We kept asking the same question — why does skincare need to be this complicated?
Then we found tallow.
Beef tallow. Rendered fat from grass-fed cattle. It sounded strange. It looked simple. And it worked better than anything we had tried. Turns out there's a reason humans used this for thousands of years before synthetic moisturizers existed. The fatty acid profile of tallow is nearly identical to your skin's own natural oils. Your skin doesn't have to figure out what to do with it — it already knows.
We added one thing.
Jojoba oil. A liquid wax that mimics your skin's natural sebum. Together with tallow it delivers balanced hydration without clogging pores or leaving any residue. That's the entire formula. Two ingredients. We tried adding more. Nothing made it better. So we stopped.
